   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Изучена пористая структура, состояние активного компонента и каталитические свойства в реакции дегидрирования изобутана микросферического алюмохромового катализатора при модифицировании SiO
                  2 . При введении 1.0-4.5 мас.% оксида кремния увеличивается активность и селективность катализатора в дегидрировании изобутана в результате формирования бо´льшего числа поверхностных кластеров оксида хрома (III) с меньшей энергией электронных d - d - переходов в ионе Cr(III)
                  oct . </p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>Transformation of porous structure, nature of supported chromium species, as well as isobutane dehydrogenation characteristic of microspherical chromia-alumina catalyst under modification by SiO
                  2 were studied. Catalyst activity and selectivity increases during the modification by 1.0-4.5 wt% SiO
                  2 as a result of formation of more number of surface Cr
                  2O
                  3 clusters. Thus, clusters are characterized by lower d-d- transition energy in Cr(III)
                  oct -ion. </p>
