   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Проведен биоинформационный анализ генома Serratia marcescens с целью поиска и идентификации гомологов генов каталаз и пероксидаз Escherichia coli и Salmonella Typhimurium. Было показано, что в геноме S.marcescens, аналогично геному E.coli, присутствуют каталазы KatE и KatG, но не KatN. Однако, в отличие от E.coli у S.marcescens отсутствует пероксидаза AhpC, но присутствует пероксидаза TsaA, гомологичная соответствующей пероксидазе S.Typhimurium. Проведен анализ устойчивости разных штаммов S.marcescens к перекиси водорода и показано, что инактивация генов внеклеточной нуклеазы и системы рестрикции приводит к повышению чувствительности бактерий к активным формам кислорода. </p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>Comparative bioinformatic genome analysis of Serratia marcescens, Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium revealed that, similar to E.coli, the genome of S. marcencens harbors genes for сatalases KatE and KatG, but not KatN. However, in contrast to E.coli, the peroxidase AhpC gene is absent from S. marcescens genome and has apparently been replaced by a putative homolog of S. Typhimurium peroxidase TsaA. Different strains of S.marcescens were tested for sensitivity to hydrogen peroxide. A restrictionless mutant strain lacking nuclease activity was found to display an elevated level of H2O2 sensitivity. </p>
