   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>В статье дан обзор известных методов модификации углеродных волокон (УВ). Рассмотрены основные принципы обработки поверхности волокнистых материалов. Проведен анализ особенностей взаимодействия инструментов воздействия с поверхностью тел. Установлено, что одним из перспективных методов модификации поверхностных слоев является воздействие потока плазмы высокочастотного емкостного (ВЧЕ) разряда пониженного давления. </p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>This article gives an overview of known methods of modification of carbon fibers (CF). The many of basic principles of surface treatment fibrous materials were considered. Was analyzed the interactions of tools to influence the surface of fibers Found that one of promising methods of modification of the surface layers is the impact of radio-frequency capacitive plasma flow discharge of low pressure.</p>
