The results of experimental studies of noise, reproduced by stationary motor vehicles, describes in this work. Found that the main sources of noise of internal combustion engine of KAMAZ operating at constant speed of the crankshaft are: the noise of the jet exhaust, fan noise and the noise of the air intake into the duct. The intensity of the noise, emitted by these sources, depends on the engine speed and on the viewing direction relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
