We studied physicochemical properties of molybdenum compounds derived from spent iron potassium catalysts of the dehydrogenation of isoamylenes into isoprene. It is shown that iron potassium catalysts prepared using the recovered molybdenum are equal in their catalytic performance to the catalysts prepared using chemically pure reagents.
