Polyelectrolyte nanoparticles on the basis of europium(III) thenoyltriflouracetylacetonate and dimethoxyphenyl substituted ligand mixed ligand complex were synthesized. Their photophysical and colloidal properties were investigated. Bifunctional p olyelectrolyte nanoparticles were obtained as a result of interaction between europium(III) containing nanoparticles and polyethyleneimine or tiron modificated USPION. Colloidal, photophysical and paramagnetic properties are illustrated in this paper.
