Abstract (English):
To establish the effect of plasma treatment on the physical and mechanical properties of UHMPE fibers measured tensile strength and elongation of fiber samples treated with plasma in various modes. Found that the processing of UHMPE fibers nonequilibrium low-temperature plasma (NLTP) in the optimal range, in an argon atmosphere, there is no significant deterioration in the strength characteristics, which is important to maintain high initial properties of UHMPE fibers to create the composite materials.
