Abstract (English):
Analyzing the literature on liquid biofuel market, the current condition of algae biofuel production in the USA has been studied. U.S. Universities activity on the development of algae processing technologies has been considered. The scientific research results of the Arizona Center for Algae Technology and Innovation and their commercialization have been investigated. It is mentioned that collaboration with Arizona State University allows the KNRTU to develop the curriculum and teaching methods on the program «Power Saving Engineering for Biofuel Production» and «Ecological Bioengineering» and to adopt the experience of technologies transfer in the fuel and bioremediation industries.
