ISSLEDOVANIE METROLOGICHESKIH HARAKTERISTIK UL'TRAZVUKOVOGO SCHETCHIKA GAZA NA ETALONNYH RASHODOIZMERITEL'NYH USTANOVKAH

Abstract (English):
The metrological properties of ultrasonic gas meter on standard flow-metering benches of thermotechnical laboratories Pigsar and maker have been studied as well as on standard facility ЭУ -2 comprised in State primary standard facility for volumetric gas flow ГЭТ 118. It has been found out that during the use of the meter with calibration coefficients calculated under conditions different from measurement conditions there occurs an increase of relative measurement error of volumetric gas flow. The analysis of obtained data allowed to establish that the reason for this is the influence of spurious acoustic noise, excessive pressure on separate components of the meter and its housing and change the gain of the acoustic signal. The recommendations for error compensation are provided.
