Biological compatibility of steel implants with titan and hafnium nitride nanocoating and influence upon the ajacent tissues has been investigated. The researches allowed to define stages of forming osseous regenerate. An algorithm for quantitative and qualitative assessment of tissue in the injured zone is offered. Experimental researches in rabbits have shown that the use of implants coated with titan and hafnium nitrides causes less pronounced reactive changes in osseous tissues characterised by shorter duration. The regenerate is distinguished by smaller sizes and increased density.
