The effect of small additions of layered silicates on the rheological properties and vulcanization of rubber based on silicone rubber was studied . Physical and mechanical properties before and after aging at 250°C was defined. Shown that the introduction of the layered silicate does not lead to a noticeable change in the rheological properties of siloxane and vulcanizing rubber. At the same time the introduction of the layered silicate increases resistance to thermal aging.
