Abstract (English):
Т ew approach to production of polymeric sulfur, based on the simultaneous effect of temperature to 160-180 ° C, pressures up to 20 MPa, intense shear with sonar vibrational effects above 1 kHz proposed. Shown that the use of cavitation effects on molten sulfur, in addition to increasing the yield of oligomeric product, allows lower initial temperature of the process. Properties of oligomeric sulfur samples obtained by this approach were compared with the properties of sulfur Crystex OT-33.
