An approach to smoothing of velocity fields and its turbulent pulsations in solving problem of fluid rate in pipe has been proposed. The universal flow conditioner afforded to grade the influence of form losses on work of air vortex flowmeter has been developed. Experimental studies of flow conditioner have been performed and its operational integrity as a part of vortex flowmeter has been verified.
