Now a choice of the most effective forms of the competition – one of the central and most inconsistent problems of strategy of activity of the companies in the conditions of strengthening of influence of processes of globalization. In article the main aspects of globalization of economy, its key processes in a region section are reflected. Tendencies of development of a petrochemical complex are allocated. The main approaches to strategic alliances are analysed and examples of their functioning in RT are reviewed.
