Results of researches of some gunpowder extinction (ballistite, pyroxylin, mix, model compositions) at pressure decay with various speeds (Р ` ) from initial level Р i =4÷250 МPа to final pressure Р f =0,1÷50 МPа are presented in this paper. Modesof burning of gunpowder, their characteristic and existence area are defined.
