The effect of temperature on the solubility of MA, MC and PMA in MEG and MPG is studied. The inspection of catalytic properties of prepared solutions in the epoxidation of decene-1 by ethylbenzene hydroperoxide and receiving glycols by olefins oxide hydration is shown that the highest activity and selectivity have samples prepared at temperatures between 100-150°C. Testify that the dissolved molybdenum in the glycol solution is in the form of complexes of molybdenum oxide oligomers with solvent wherein is the molybdenum atom can be in five and six valence, as well as in the form of molybdic acid ester and the corresponding glycol.
