The salts were synthesized by a reaction of hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid with aniline with different degrees of neutralization of phosphonic groups, and their ability to inhibit the corrosion of steel was investigated with a method of the small linear polarization. There is shown a possibility of using synthesized salts as corrosion inhibitors for steel in the formation of waterborne coatings based on film-forming substances.
