Abstract (English):
Using the method of FTIR spectroscopy the products of hydrothermally catalytic conversion of a heavy oil in water vapor medium in the presence of natural hematite catalyst at temperatures of 210, 250 and 300°C were investigated The influence of temperature and water content in the reaction mixture on the yield and composition of the products of experiments is shown. Under the experimental conditions a new formation of hydrocarbons due to destruction of high molecular weight hydrocarbons, resins and asphaltenes is observed. Increasing the temperature and decrease in water content leads to a high degree of aromaticity and oxidation of the experiments products and to the forming of insoluble asphaltene fraction and coke-like products.
