The paper analyzes the management mechanism of technology transfer in Germany . The author shows the role of the federal government and local authorities in the development and implementation of innovative policies, provides a description of the infrastructure of the technology transfer, identify the role of universities in the production and transfer of knowledge and technologies in the German chemical industry.
