Dehydrogenation catalysts, accelerate hydrogen abstraction from organic compounds. Various firm materials which on chemical composition can be divided into some bunches concern dehydrogenation catalysts mainly: phosphatic, oxide, platinum, metal-oxide. Metal-oxide and platinum accelerators apply to dehydrogenation of paraffin, phosphatic and oxidic accelerators are applied to dehydrogenation olefinic and alkylaromatic hydrocarbons. Dehydrogenation catalysts should possess good mechanical strength , spalling resistance and to be made of accessible and inexpensive raw materials. Good dehydrogenation catalysts should possess high activity, selectivity, stability at long work and full recovered.
