The stabilizing activity effectiveness of bisphenol, obtained by reaction of various substituted phenols with formaldehyde, is studied by the accumulation of carbonyl groups in IR-spectroscopy and by the induction period prior to the thermal polymerization of styrene. An increase in the antioxidant activity of condensed alkylphenol stabilizers is obtained.
