The mathematical model of profile milling capacity of peripheral segments on which basis the process power indicators calculation is possible is developed. It is established that the greatest influence on a cutting capacity at profile milling of peripheral segments renders the cutting depth, feed speed and slab allowance increasing. Results have received satisfactory acknowledgement by the spent experiments on a small slab feed speeds. For profile milling of peripheral segments on high cutting modes it is offered to use a control system of milling capacity by changing of a feed speed.
