The results of determining the mode of burning gunpowder main propellant charge in the tube of the stabilizer in a shot from a 120 mm mortar. It is shown that the combustion of gunpowder in the pressure drop occurs in the "re-ignition", which is characterized by: extinction, stop combustion and ignition of gunpowder extinct. The characteristics of the regime the time and stop the extinction of combustion.
