The effect of polymer dispersions and dispersions of silicon dioxide on the physico-mechanical properties and transparency of gelatin layer are investigated. Found that the introduction of dispersions can improve the mechanical strength, lower moisture content and water absorption of gelatin layers. It is shown that the main limitation of the use of polymer dispersions to improve the gelatin layer is to reduce the transparency of their introduction
