Analytical dependences, of cutting-friction forces in a contact zone of a cutting wedge with a slab material, and also the inertial forces operating on a shaving, descending on a forward surface of a cutting plate are established. The geometry of a tool cutting part, of а profile milling cutting mode elements and a shaped mill constructive parameters are considered. The contact areas of a cutting wedge with processed wood on forward and back surfaces that allows to calculate the average pressure in a cutting zone are experimentally defined.
