In article the concept and essence, and also the purpose of the complex «Foresight» mechanism which represents process of national selection of the new directions during which the consensus of opinions of various subjects of national innovative system is reached is opened. Achievements of the Tatarstan scientists in the field of nanotechnologies are analysed, the recommendation about introduction in the section chemical production in the All-Russian qualifier of types of economic activity of the Russian Federation nanoengineering branch is offered.
