The paper contains theoretical and practical analysis of the development of Russia's international cooperation in the framework of the process of globalization. An important element of globalization for the Russian economy is economic integration in the framework of external trade cooperation with Russia. The consideration of positive and negative scenarios of situation development in the foreign segment of the Russian economy is the basis for the selection of basic parameters providing or impede sustainable economic development. The consequences of globalization processes intensification, in respect of the Russian economy in the period from 2012 to evaluate the features and directions of deepening Russia's integration into the world economy, to identify the indicators that require special control of the state.
