The paper discusses the main causes of irregularity and pulsation flow in pipelines verification installations and metering of gas pumping compressor stations. It shows the influence of separated flow at discharge characteristics of the flow in the channel. The results of experimental research of characteristics of currents generated by the compressor equipment, reproducing the stream. Describes the physical mechanism of the phenomena, as a result of a random process that depends on many factors.
