The conducted research on the preparation of polyurethane foam (PUF) with the addition of a hydroxyl component of water-soluble liquid thermolysis products of wood. Was determined experimentally the dependence of the density and volume of foam on the concentration of water-soluble pyrolysis liquid comprising a polyol component, as well as the the nature of the effect of pyrolysis liquid content on the compressive strength and bending. The scientific research showed that the increase in the content of the pyrolysis liquid resulting in reduced foaming capacity, increases density and decreases the strength of the material.
