Abstract (English):
Simulation of material balance of styrene radical polymerization with reversible chain transfer (transfer agent is a dibenzyl trithiocarbonate) has been carried out and realized in the ideal mixing batch-operated reactor. This model has been developed on the basis of the kinetic shame, which includes all presently known elementary reaction processes. As a result of solving the inverse kinetic problem, temperature dependences of the rate constants of elementary reactions reversible chain transfer has been determined. By comparison of theoretical and experimental values of polystyrene molecular-mass characteristics the kinetics of the process put into the model has been proved and prognostic abilities of this model were shown.
