The use of traditional organic binding materials in the preparation of asphalt-concrete mixes in heavy current conditions leads to a deterioration in the quality and reduce the durability of the road surface. Work is devoted to the modification of bitumen by a copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate. The regularities of changes in the physicochemical properties of modified bitumen and asphalt concrete pavement performance based on them from the copolymer composition and of its amount in the binding material.
