The paper analyzes the problems of the current stage of development of the fundamental principles of chemical science as a general scientific knowledge component, the reasons for their occurrence and effective solutions. The paper considers the history of a new chemical ideology emergence at the Kirov Chemical Technology Institute, aimed at revealing the fundamental differences between chemistry and physics and other sciences. The problems were formulated and the conclusion about the general crisis state of natural science knowledge on the threshold of the 21st century was substantiated. The paper analyzes historical stages of scientific knowledge development, including the fourth integral-differential stage, which laid the natural science foundation for the modern classification of sciences based on the differences in the material objects and phenomena studied in them. These are differential (physics, chemistry, biology, sociology ...), integral (philosophy, mathematics ...) and integral-differential (natural science ...) sciences. It was noted that in the first quarter of the 21st century, the situation in the development of the fundamental principles of chemistry and natural science as a whole has not changed dramatically. The reasons for the delay in the development of fundamental principles of chemistry were revealed, including the lack of attempts to create a unified model of chemical bonding and a system that unites basic types of chemical substances, in addition to the D.I. Mendeleev's periodic table of atoms, as well as to further develop the theory of the chemical structure of matter by A.M. Butlerov. The systematic, for over ~40 years, work of the scientific school's team of this review's author to solve these problems ensured the development of a number of scientific innovations that contribute to the acceleration of the formation of the fundamental principles of modern chemistry. Including those within the framework of the creation of a mixed model and quantitative identification of 6216 basic homo- and heteronuclear chemical bonds and compounds of elements in the system of chemical substances in the form of the "Chemical Triangle", their universal classifications, a system of fundamental chemical concepts, etc., which form the basis of the theory of "unified" chemistry.
