The article considers the training of students with the use of information and computing facilities at the Department of EE. Describes the computerization of the discipline of «Electrical engineering and electronics» with the help of the following means: electronic abstract of lectures, electronic methodical instructions for laboratory and calculation works, electronic textbooks, the program of simulation of PSpice, a complex of computer tests for the evaluation of the received knowledge. Conclusions about the intensification of the educational process at the expense of application of modern information technologies, which results in the increase of activity of cognitive activity of students, and consequently, increase the efficiency and quality of the learning process.
