This article outlines the main provisions, which were the result of years of original research. The author sought to identify and discuss the central issues related to civic education of the cadets of higher military educational institutions. Much attention is paid to the processes of civic education of students, that contributing to significant changes in the traditional content of the educational concepts in of the higher military schools.
