The tert.butyl ester 3-(3 ’, 5 '-di-tert.butyl-4 '- hydroxyphenyl)-propanoic acid possesses anomalously high antioxidative efficacy in radical reaction in the conditions of the initiated oxidation of isopropyl benzene with an inhibition constant к 7 = 3.10 6 l·mol -1·s -1 and number of stopping of chain f = 5. On the basis of results of quanum-chemical calculations enthalpies (H f o), entropies (S f o) and energy of a homolytic cleavage of communications HO - of frames tert.butyl and methyl esters 3-(3,5-di-tert.butyl-4 '-hydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid are calculated energy of formation ( Е f o ).
