The analysis of approaches to understanding of ways of development of individual mental experience is carried out. The modern theoretical formula of motive which shows is given that the general orientation of the personality as prospect of its development is defined by a level of development of intentsionalny mental experience. As a result of the carried-out researches with use of pedagogical model of development of intentsionalny mental experience for the first time it is proved that it is ability which can be developed. Therefore, the emotional intelligence is necessary for considering as intentsionalny mental experience (understanding of emotions) and metacognitive mental experience (management of emotions) which are necessary for improving, for success in engineering activity.
