In article described the experience of technical universities of Great Britain, Germany and the USA in field of application of project education of polymeric profile specialists; defined some identical characteristics of these educational systems: the existence of professionally significant task or problem; the organization of team work; the leading role of the teacher not only as ideological inspirer and consultant, but also as sample for imitation; interdisciplinary character of projects.
