Abstract (English):
Experimental measurement of power consumption and ultimate pressure of two stage unit on the base of Roots stage and claw stage was carried out when rotational speed and inlet pressure were varied. The analysis of the obtained relationships showed considerable effect of the pump inlet pressure and the rotational speed on the power consumption. The comparison with similar relationships for Edwards units showed qualitative correspondence on operating rotational speeds.
