Studied metallurgical imaging of structures of steel and Vickers hardness. It is found that there is a correlation between the mechanical properties of materials and the parameters of the uniformity and regularity of their microstructure. Multifractal analysis of the links established conditions for the preparation of metallographic sections with the results of the parameterization of microstructures.
