The Article analyses the necessity of using the information technologies in the field of social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, the mechanism of interplay between the territorial bodies of social welfare authorities and other providers of services applying up-to-date information technologies. The article shows the advantages of using such IT solutions as datebase, e-document flow, take-a-number-system, electronic appointment, videoconference. The author lays down the guidelines and sets the task of improvement the quality of social services rendering with the application of information technologies.
