Abstract (English):
The calculation procedure of axial and radial forces arising from gas pressure in the scroll mechanism of an oil-free scroll vacuum pump is presented. It is shown that for the “medium” pump with pumping speed 15 m 3/h the axial load increases 6 times and radial load increases 2,5 times when the inlet pressure increases from the ultimate pressure to atmospheric pressure.
