Abstract (English):
Modified simulation model of pitting corrosion are in the focus. This model describes metastable and stable pits development. It’s shown that changes in the ratio between passive and active areas on the metal surface lead to changes of calculated values of pit generation and pit passivation rates. The presence of the dynamic quiescent conditions on initial stage of pitting corrosion is determined. At such condition calculated ​​ pit generation and passivation rates values are equal to each other. From the moment of stable pits formation calculated values of pit generation and pit passivation rates decrease. The analytical model of D. E. Williams, C. Westcott, and M. Fleischmann is analyzed. It is shown that results of simulation modeling corroborate equations of this analytical model.
