The processing techniques of experimental data of pitting corrosion under potentiostatic polarization are in focus. It is shown that the ensemble of stochastic processes theory and spectral analysis methods can be used in pitting corrosion processes frequency characteristic calculations. The ensemble of stochastic processes theory is used to determine the boundary between two phases of metal dissolution. The spectral analysis method is used in order to define the proportion between periodic and noise components of stochastic process.
