The possibility of using electrophilic and nucleophilic modifiers in the manufacture of heat-insulating materials reconstituted by soaking in the sulfur melt tonnage of waste oil, gas and engineering. It has been shown that the use of modifying additives of aluminum chloride or sodium silicate improves the melt rheological properties of the impregnation , and also substantially improves the strength , water- and heat-insulating properties of the resulting materials , which expands the scope of the developed materials , such as thermal insulation in the outer walls.
