Abstract (English):
Developed a catalyst for the production of metal waste treatment process gases from sulfur dioxide. The efficiency of the catalyst in the range of from 300 ° C to 500 ° C. Process for purifying gases from sulfur dioxides. It is established that that carbon steel shavings takes place not only the catalytic oxidation of SO2 to SO3, but a chemical reaction with the metal.
