The article focuses on the potential of the joint and dual narrative textbooks in resolving social conflicts. Foreign research of the joint and dual narrative textbook writing and practical application demonstrates positive effect of such textbooks on transforming perceptions of the “other”. The article is based on the author's study of the Israeli-Palestinian project PRIME called “Dual-Narrative History Textbook”. It also includes the conclusions and recommendations of the joint textbook approach in the local environment.
