The problem of stability of thin orthotropic ellipsoidal shell of rotation, with two symmetrical pole holes, being under the action of uniform external pressure and constant temperature at а fixed hinge support is considered. The equations of neutral equilibrium recorded in the components of displacement, аге solved by the finite difference method combined with matrix factorization. The values of the critical external pressure by the action of а constant temperature field have been obtained.
