The article is devoted to an actual problem of using of interactive methods of training in the system of higher professional education in the preparation of engineering specialties; the specific features of their application in practice; underlined the effectiveness of interactive methods. Presented foreign experience in using interactive methods, in particular «work in a group», «work on the project (for example, the Technical University of Braunschweig, the Higher technical school of Merseburg).
