The features of the Swedish model of additional vocational education, its basic characteristics and opportunities of application in the Russian education system are analysed on the example of retraining program « Electronic business» . The features of the joint Russian-Swedish program of professional retraining as an example of the successful decision of tasks of development of continuous education are considered.
