The problem of stability of thin orthotropic ellipsoidal shell of rotation with two symmetrical pole holes, being under the action of uniform external pressure and temperature, which in the thickness of the shell varies linearly is considered. Modules of elasticity and shift, coefficients of linear thermal expansion аге approximated by linear functions of temperature. Influence of temperature gradient оп the critical external pressure value has been investigated.
